Why Not Me?

You know what's embarrassing? Getting a book to review, and then not finishing it.
Really, it's shameful. And I'm clawing my way out of my shame to share with you my very delayed review on Mindy Kaling's Why Not Me?
I LOVED Mindy's first book Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? It was laugh out loud funny, and it made me fall in love with Mindy's brand of humor.
I was so excited for her second book to come out, and when I finally got my hands on my amazingly beautiful copy of Why Not Me? I'm pretty sure there was an angelic chorus in the background. Maybe it was my unrealistically high expectations, or maybe it was simply the fact that I am not a single lady, but I couldn't bring myself to finish the book. About halfway through the book, I found myself uninterested.
For almost a year Why Not Me? has been living on my bookshelf (did I mention how pretty the cover is?) waiting for me to give it another go. I'm sure that once I return to it, I'll love it.
